It has been cold in the Aldie area lately, but there is no such thing as 100 percent safe ice. Our advice - - STAY OFF OF FROZEN PONDS, LAKES, STREAMS, RIVERS, POOLS, AND OTHER WATER BODIES! If someone falls through ice, call 9-1-1 immediately.
