Despite the bad weather, there were well over 200 people in attendance. There were many friends, family members, and Loudoun County volunteer fire and rescue agency representatives in attendance.

Richard was an incredible man who always helped whomever he could. He was active in so many things in our community, and his work will be remembered for decades by many generations.

Our thanks to the LCFR career staff assigned to our fire station for creating the memorial to Richard on the front of our building.
